Our Future Cities was commissioned by the V&A Waterfront Company to conduct research into the potential uses and programming of the ‘Battery Park’ project planned within theCanal District.

The purpose of the research aims to explore the potential uses and demand for uses in the approximately 3,500 sqm park in order to
inform the programming and placemaking efforts and build awareness around the potential minor or major infrastructure requirements and fit out of the park once it is operational.

The vision for the park is such that it remains a quality, 24/7, accessible and inclusive green space within the broader V&A Waterfront, and attracts locals and international visitors.
