Fortaleza 70% complete
The Castelão stadium, set to host six matches during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, is scheduled for delivery in December 2012. Two of the four construction phases have been completed, with the third stage- the construction of the Central Building- currently in progress. With a capacity of 6,700, construction plans include lowering the field by 4 metres to ensure 100% visibility for fans.
Cuiabá 45% complete
Forecast to be completed in December 2012, the Arena Pantanal will host four FIFA World Cup matches, all in the first phase. 17,000 of the total capacity of 43,000 seats are removable in the form of metal bleaches.
