One of the grandfathers of contemporary urban design theory, Jan Gehl has dedicated himself to making cities better places for people to live in for some fifty years. He has consulted in cities across the globe including London, New York, Auckland and of course Copenhagen where his architecture and urban design consultancy is based.
Crane.tv sat down with Gehl to hear his thoughts on why Copenhagen is such a people-friendly metropolis and he tells us why his next project, Moscow, will be a true challenge.
