Construction is currently underway on what will become the new Head Office of Grand Parade Investments in Cape Town’s foreshore. This is a redevelopment of the old FNB building in Heerengracht Street. Grand Parade Investments have recently announced plans, through a subsidiary, to open the first Burger King restaurant in South Africa in the first half of 2013. This first restaurant will be launched in Cape Town and be located in the ground floor of this development, and a national roll-out will follow.
