Lead architect Graham Stirk, of Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, takes us inside of one of the latest and largest additions to London’s skyline: ‘The Cheesegrater’ – aka the Leadenhall building. Standing at 225m, the Leadenhall Building will be the tallest office tower ever to be built in Britain and will open to the public next weekend during the annual Open House London. The completion of the building comes amidst the ongoing debate about the city’s ever-growing skyline, with some arguing that London’s current ‘rush for the sky’ caters only for an elite, ignoring the city’s growing problems of housing provision and affordability.
