The new Pwc offices are scheduled for completion in June 2016 with 13,500 sqm of AAA grade office space, and the goal of being rated 4 green stars. The structure is currently far advanced with the roof slab being poured on the northern core. PwC and the V&A Waterfront Holdings (Pty) Ltd signed a 9 000m² lease in the Silo precinct. Silo No. 5 is expected to be completed by mid-2016 and will offer over 13 000m² of multi-tenanted office space. The new building follows best practice in terms of sustainability and green building principles, climate control and security. Some of the highlights of this ‘building of the future’ include a district seawater cooling plant, electric car charging points, and bicycle storage facilities.
