A series of short films developed as part of the launch of the Global Street Design Guide have us going back to the drawing board, exploring past projects, articles and thoughts around the very definition of a street.

cape town-150902. On Sunday 4th October 2015, the first ever Open Streets Bellville will take place. The focus will be on Kruskal Street, which will be turned into a pedestrian zone. The event aims to strengthen community ties by bringing the people of Bellville out to meet each other in a space usually used by cars. The top end of the street where its meets Voortrekker Rd in the foreground.
